This term we have working on improving our skills in Gymnastics at P.E. time. Aren't we doing well?!!

Fairtrade Breakfast

Alongside our friends from Room 4 and 5, Room 3 recently hosted a Fairtrade Breakfast. As a mini enterprise linked to our major focus topic on Farming, we invited our friends and family to have breakfast with us. We wanted to raise awareness of Fairtrade farming and let our guests know why it is important. Primary 1/2 had to write letters to local businesses and shops to ask for the food and materials we needed for the event. We made advertising posters at I.C.T. time, and we created invitations. During our presentation we performed a song and played a film that we thought delivered the Fairtrade message well. The breakfast was a huge success, Mrs Wallace and Mrs Ayres were very proud of us!
