Excellent behaviour in term 2

Mrs Ayres was extremely proud of the boys and girls who received an excellent behaviour certificate.
These are only given out to children who have had less than five traffic lights over the whole term, and of course, no red traffic lights.
Well done children!

Nativity

Our Nativity performances were very exciting.

Our primary 1 children all got dressed in lovely costumes.
We had angels, shepherds,

an innkeeper and even the star of Bethlehem.
Primary 2 wore some lovely bright tinsel.
They also had very important jobs this year...
... they had to tell the story of the Nativity and perform lots of songs.
Our narrators had lots of lines to learn.
Our musicians played a variety of instruments.
 Everyone worked really hard.
Mrs Ayres was really proud of all of the children.
  The audiences were also impressed.
What a super performance!

Christmas Party

What a lot of fun we had at our Christmas party!
  We had dancing and games.
We had primary 1 and 2 from all of the classes so there were lots of boys and girls to dance with.
We went to the dinner hall for a delicious snack and a drink.

Then Santa came for a visit!

  He gave everyone a present.
It took a wee while as there were a lot of boys and girls...
  ...but we were very patient.
Santa was pleased that everyone remembered their manners.
  He also enjoyed our singing.
We put our presents in the classroom and then it was time for more games.
We all enjoyed playing pass the parcel.
  We had a super afternoon.

Dog Pictures

We recently made some super pictures of dogs. These are a few examples of them.
We used potato printing to create the pawprints for our background.
We chose which colour we would like to make our dog.
It was a good opportunity to practise our cutting skills.
