Homework Bags

Primary 2 have had their homework bags since the start of term. Inside our Primary 2 bags you will find:

• Homework diaries (these tell the adults at home what to do just incase we forget!) 
• Reading Books Maths worksheets/ topic activities 
• Name cards 
• Any important letters from our teachers/ school office. 

Primary 1 were given homework bags to take home on their first full day of school. We were all so excited to be getting homework just like the big boys and girls! Inside our Primary 1 homework bags you will find:

• Homework diaries (these tell the adults at home what to do just incase we forget!) 
• Reading books 
•  Word boxes 
• ORT word cards (in diary) 
• Jolly Phonics sounds cards 
• Maths worksheets/ topic activities
• Name cards 
• Parents information booklets
• Pairs game
• Any important letters from our teachers/ school office. 

 Mrs Wallace and Mrs Ayres say we must try to remember our homework bags (with everything inside) everyday, because we sometimes use the materials in class. Primary 1 will work with  ORT word cards, reading books, sounds and word boxes each week with Mrs Wallace and Mrs Ayres. It is very important that we try not to lose any of the contents of our homework bags. Parents and carers should use the homework diary as a means of communication with our school, because our teachers check our diaries every day. Return slips from letters sent home should be put in our diaries.
